Hi
Just wondering if anybody else has come across a problem within SRM acting very strange
we have just a single redhat VM which is getting vSphere replicated to the recovery site with a RPO of 24hours.
in the recovery plan it has a post power on task which calls a script to change the opp state of the VM to the DR site. This is instead of using a IP customiztion.
the test of the recovery plan work the very first time after the SRM services have been restarted on the recovery site no problem, But will fail every time after the first succesfull test until the services have been restarted again? This doesn't matter what the command is or whether its an IP customiztion. It alway completes successfully once after the services have been restarted? then fails every other attempts with an error of Operation timed out:20 seconds
I have increased the timeout period to longer but no matter how long it still times out
It is almost like the clean up tasks (which completessuccessfully) is locking the VM so any other attempts fail after the first test?
Also I have rebooted both SRM servers and now the interfaces has become really sluggish and slow at loading any of the pages??
has anybody else ever come across a similiar problem? is there a order which I need to reboot the SRM servers which will speed it back up?
Any help with either of these problems will be greatly appreciated
Regards
