Hello, Does anyone know and can confirm that in SRM 5.5 if it is still a requirement to use SQL Authentication to the SRM database if SRM is installed on a different server than the SQL Server? I cannot find anything to confirm this. The SRM Install & Config docs simply states "If you install SQL Server on a different machine to SRM Server, both of the SRM Server and SQL Server machines must belong to the same domain. You then create a domain user that has the SQL Server login and that also has access to SRM Server." But then Knowledge Base 1037438 indicates "The SRM database can reside either on the same machine where the SRM is installed or on a remote host. If the database is hosted remotely, SQL authentication must be used.", and it lists SRM 5.5 as one of the products effected.
Also, for the DSN the Install & config docs indicate to use SQL Server Native Client 10.0. Does anyone know if using SQL Server 2012 is it OK to use SQL Server Native Client 11.0? I think you have to, don't you? The Install & config dopcs also indicate that if using if you are using SQL Server 2012, configure the NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM login. Is this necessary?
Thank you in advance.
