Can we move VM's online between 2 different vCenters with different Versions?

Hi All,

I want to move some VM's from from one vCenter to another without having the downtime. These 2 vCenters are at different geographic locations.

I have one vCenter with 4.1 Version and another with 5.1. I want to move VM's from 4.1 Setup to 5.1 Setup.

Can we use SRM to move the machines between 2 Datacenters ( Lets say between Rockville and Richmond) ?
